Sing For The Climateis a Belgian initiative, made possible by the goodwill of many volunteers.
In 2012 Sing For The Climate was organised in Belgium: more than 380.000 people sang ‘Do it now‘! So we made a clip that united all the voices. This clip was shown to the Belgian Prime Minister, the State Secretary of Environment, the Flemish and the European Ministers of Environment. All the above signed the demands of the Campaign for the Climate and therefore committed themselves to take necessary measures. Finally, the clip was shown on the last plenary meeting of UN Climate Conference in Doha.It may be a coincidence, but only that last night they reached an agreement to extend the Kyoto Protocol.
Climate change is not a problem for the far future. It is already a problem. 300.000 people die annually, because of climate change. Floods, drought, hurricanes, food shortages,… The vast majority of these victims falling in the south, should not prevent us from feeling involved and sounding the alarm.
Hands-Only CPR is CPR without mouth-to-mouth breaths. It is recommended for use by people who see a teen or adult suddenly collapse in an “out-of-hospital” setting (such as at home, at work or in a park). It consists of two easy steps:
Call 112 (or send someone to do that).
Push hard and fast in the center of the chest.
When you call 112, you need to stay on the phone until the 112 dispatcher (operator) tells you to hang up. The dispatcher will ask you about the emergency. They will also ask for details like your location. It is important to be specific, especially if you’re calling from a mobile phone as that is not associated with a fixed location or address. Remember that answering the dispatcher’s questions will not delay the arrival of help.

If you see a teen or adult suddenly collapse, call 112 and push hard and fast in the center of the chest to the beat of the classic disco song "Stayin' Alive." CPR can more than double a person's chances of survival, and "Stayin' Alive" has the right beat for Hands-Only CPR.

The American Heart Association recommends CPR with a combination of breaths and compressions for:
All infants (up to age 1)
Children (up to puberty)
Anyone found already unconscious and not breathing normally
Any victims of drowning, drug overdose, collapse due to breathing problems, or prolonged cardiac arrest

Boston, Massachusetts. He would have turned 201 yesterday. Edgar Allan Poe is considered one of America's greatest writers. He is said to have invented the modern detective story. His works are full of suspense, as his most famous poem, The Raven (1845), shows. He was a very successful writer, yet in his personal life he struggled greatly.

Bowie — born David Jones on January 8th, 1947 in London — took up the saxophone at age 13, and when he left Bromley Technical High School (where a friend permanently paralyzed his left pupil in a fight) to work as a commercial artist three years later, he had started playing in bands (the Konrads, the King Bees, David Jones and the Buzz)
The 1960s were not a happy period for Bowie, who remained a struggling artist, awaiting his breakthrough. Musically, he released "Young Americans," a soul (or plastic soul as he later referred to it) album. This produced his first number one hit in the US, "Fame." He also appeared in his first major film, El hombre que cayó a la tierra (1976). With his different-colored eyes and skeletal frame, he certainly looked the part of an alien (...)
