2009 to 2013. She is the wife of the 42nd President
of the United States Bill
Clinton,
and was First
Lady of the United States during
his tenure from 1993 to 2001. Clinton subsequently served as a United
States Senatorfrom New
York from
2001 to 2009, and is a candidate
for President of the United States in
the 2016
presidential election.
